Looking ahead to a future beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, we aim to create "unique experiences that only Narita can offer" in response to the changing and diversifying values of our customers, as well as to provide performances and services for the increasing inbound demand as recovery progresses. In line with the 2020 amendment to the Health Promotion Act, we have updated our outdoor smoking areas by incorporating washi-style glass film, not only re-evaluating the smoking environment but also making efforts to allow guests to experience a sense of Japan. We have installed two "high-performance plasma dust collection and deodorization devices VFLJP" in outdoor smoking booths, which clear smoke to meet the standards for indoor non-smoking areas by removing over 95% of tobacco TVOC.

It meets the standards for smoking booths with smoke removal functions, which are transitional measures under the revised Health Promotion Law's technical standards for designated smoking rooms. ▼ "Air Curtain Box" An air wall, or "air curtain," at the entrance and exit of the smoking area prevents tobacco smoke from leaking from the smoking area into the non-smoking area.
